Every speech, video address, press remark, and Truth Social post where President Trump mentioned the Iran conflict, February 24 to March 10, 2026. Word counts reflect the full communication, not just Iran-specific portions.
Between the State of the Union on 24 February and a Truth Social post about the Strait of Hormuz on 10 March 2026, President Trump spoke or posted about the war with Iran 26 times, and those 26 communications add up to 25,187 words, counting the full length of each one rather than only the passages about Iran.
The words were not spread evenly, because 15 of the 26 were Truth Social posts that averaged 79 words each and came to 1,178 words between them, while five speeches and four sets of press remarks came to 22,516 words, which is close to nine words in every ten.
The war itself was announced in a 1,078-word video posted to Truth Social on 28 February, which opened by saying the United States military had begun major combat operations in Iran, and the same day brought a 195-word post saying that Khamenei was dead.
The busiest day was 7 March, with 9,660 words across five communications, which ran from a post about defence manufacturers agreeing to quadruple production to his remarks at the dignified transfer at Dover Air Force Base and a 6,429-word speech at the Shield of Americas summit at Doral, the longest item on this page.
The posts carry the lines in capitals, such as the 6 March demand for unconditional surrender and the 10 March warning about the Strait of Hormuz, while the long remarks, such as the 5,847 words in the Oval Office with Chancellor Merz on 3 March, carry the claims about Iran's navy and air force.
Every item in the list below names its source, which is the White House transcript or video for speeches and remarks and the Truth Social post itself for posts, and each word count includes everything said in that appearance, so a press gaggle that also covered other subjects is counted in full.
