2006
Police prepare multiple charges. State Attorney Barry Krischer sends it to a grand jury instead. They return a single count.
2007
Federal prosecutors draft an 82-page memo and a 60-count indictment. It is never filed. A non-prosecution agreement is signed instead, granting immunity to Epstein and all unnamed co-conspirators.
2008
Pleads guilty to 2 state charges. Sentenced to 18 months. Serves 13 months with work release. Leaves jail 6 days a week, 12 hours a day.
2018
Miami Herald publishes Julie K. Brown's investigation "Perversion of Justice." The story that reopened everything.
2019
Epstein arrested at Teterboro Airport on federal sex trafficking charges. Alexander Acosta resigns as Secretary of Labor.
2019
Found dead in his cell at MCC New York. Ruled suicide. 23 years after the first report.
2021
Ghislaine Maxwell convicted on 5 of 6 counts including sex trafficking of a minor. Sentenced to 20 years. The only conviction.
2022
Jean-Luc Brunel found dead in his Paris jail cell while awaiting trial. Ruled suicide.
2023
JPMorgan settles for $290M. Deutsche Bank settles for $75M. Both for enabling Epstein.

DOJ releases 3+ million pages, 180,000 images, 2,000 videos. 1,000+ victims identified.
