Kept 'city' or 'crew'? The best wrong words here: they found it and sent help, but R2D2 got it out. Kept 'camera' or 'underground'? That is how they found it. This one really happened. On Monday 12 October, West Valley City's stormwater crew in Utah got a call about a kitten in a drain pipe. A pole camera found it, but it would not come out. So they sent in R2D2, the city's remote-controlled pipe-inspection crawler, with a camera and lights. It nudged the kitten out of the pipe and into the arms of one of the crew. The kitten was not hurt. The city said R2D2 can add kitten rescuer to its list of jobs. West Valley City, via KCRA, 15 October.
