This one really happened. Fillongley, a village in Warwickshire, has had 11 crashes in four years at one crossroads. The Fillongley Knit and Natter group spent four months knitting fake speed cameras, hi-vis vests, zebras for the crossing signs and children with road-safety signs, and put them up on 13 October.
