# sheets.works

> sheets.works builds business systems inside Google Sheets. We turn spreadsheets into dashboards, CRMs, invoice systems, and complete business automation — no SaaS subscriptions, no data leakage, no lock-in. Your team of 5 operates like 50.

sheets.works is a professional services company that builds custom business systems entirely inside Google Sheets and Google Apps Script. We replace expensive SaaS tools (Salesforce, HubSpot, Monday.com, Airtable) with spreadsheet-native solutions that teams already know how to use.

Our core services include: custom dashboards and reporting, CRM systems, automated invoicing, lead tracking, data pipelines, client portals, email automation, and API integrations — all built inside Google Sheets with Apps Script backends.

We also offer Formula AI, a free AI-powered tool that generates Google Sheets formulas from plain English descriptions. Users describe what they need, and Formula AI returns the exact formula with step-by-step explanations.

Founded by Akash. Based on fixed-price projects with no recurring fees. Clients fully own everything we build.

## Data Visualization — The Data Drop

Interactive data stories published weekly. Pop culture, tech, and world events visualized.

- [The Data Drop — all drops](https://sheets.works/data-viz): Weekly interactive data stories
- [Watch the World Cup live](https://sheets.works/worldcuplive): Live 2026 FIFA World Cup tracker, June 11 to July 19, 2026. A bet365-style moving-ball pitch driven by FIFA's own public Opta-derived match feed (api.fifa.com, polled every 15 seconds): real event coordinates animate the ball, with live score, match clock, possession, stats, official lineups, and FIFA's written commentary line for every event. Auto-discovers the current match and rolls to the next fixture at full time, through all 104 matches. No video stream — a live data visualization of the match.
- [Day One with Fable — a live diary of Claude Fable 5](https://sheets.works/fable): Published June 10, 2026, the day after Anthropic released Claude Fable 5, the first public model from its Mythos tier above Opus. While the internet posted vibes, this page posts receipts: one person set Fable as his default model on day one and metered everything from his own session logs. 742 Fable replies, 938,211 output tokens, $210.15 at API list price ($10/$50 per million tokens), $0.00 actually paid (included in paid plans until June 22). Launch quotes (Stripe's 50-million-line migration, Cursor, Microsoft) are answered by timestamped entries from the real logs, the bill is formatted like Anthropic's own benchmark table, and "The Fable wire" is a live news feed of every Fable story (adoption, benchmarks, safety fallback controversy, pricing), swept daily at 8:00 IST by an automated search job. About 5% of model badges on the page silently render as Opus 4.8, mirroring Anthropic's real safety-classifier fallback rate. Styled as a faithful homage to Anthropic's launch page, including a hero of Claude asterisks forming a numeral 1.
- [Save the Date — every WWDC invitation, 1990 to 2026](https://sheets.works/wwdc): Published June 5, 2026, ahead of the WWDC 2026 keynote (June 8). Every WWDC announcement graphic Apple ever made, from the 1990 sunburst poster to the 2003 Aqua invitation card to 2026's glowing "All systems glow" Swift logo. The finding: Apple's invite art quietly telegraphs that year's software redesign. The art goes flat in 2013, the year iOS 7 killed skeuomorphism; turns to glass in 2025, the year of Liquid Glass; and starts glowing in 2021 ("Glow and behold"), years before the redesigned Siri it now teases. Each year shown on its own background with everything Apple shipped, plus the 1995 to 2001 gap when a near-bankrupt Apple stopped making them. Key art sourced via appleinvites.com, Cult of Mac, MacRumors.
- [The Costume Contest — vote on The Office's best Halloween costume](https://sheets.works/data-viz/office-costume-contest): Published June 15, 2026. A live community vote on the best Halloween costume in The Office (US). Every iconic costume across all six Halloween episodes on one ballot: Three Hole Punch Jim, Dwight's Sith Lord and Scranton Strangler, Gabe as Lady Gaga, Creed as the Joker, Pam's Charlie Chaplin and Olive Oyl, Two-Headed Michael, Oscar the "rational consumer", Erin as Wendy, Kevin as Charlie Brown, Stanley the samurai, Kelly as Katy Perry, and more. Pick your favorite and watch a live running tally update across everyone voting. Inspired by the season 7 "Costume Contest" episode, where Oscar wins the contest in his regular clothes off a few joke votes.
- [Every Starlink, orbiting now](https://sheets.works/data-viz/starlink): Published June 9, 2026. A live, spinnable 3D globe of all ~10,495 Starlink satellites in orbit right now, plotted from the public US Space Force catalogue using SGP4, NORAD's own propagation model. Tap any satellite for its real NORAD ID, generation, altitude, inclination, orbital period, and current position over Earth. The finding: Starlink went from 60 satellites in 2019 to roughly two-thirds of every active satellite humanity has in orbit, in seven years. Sections cover what the satellites look like by generation, the latency round-trip through space, weekly launch cadence and booster reusability, the growth curve, and the 10M+ people connected across 130+ countries. Data from CelesTrak TLEs and Jonathan McDowell's planet4589.org.
- [The Royal Pop — AP × Swatch resale market](https://sheets.works/data-viz/royal-pop): Published May 16, 2026. Live resale-market reader for the Audemars Piguet × Swatch Royal Pop pocket watches launched today at $400 retail. StockX cleared 572 sales by sundown between $1,045 and $1,697 per watch, with a full eight-piece set selling three times at $11,565. Compares the Royal Pop's day-one prices against the four-year resale decay curves of MoonSwatch (Omega × Swatch, 2022) and Blancpain × Swatch (2023). Live Market Tracker spans eight regions (US, UK, India, UAE, Australia, New Zealand, Singapore, Japan). Eight models in two case styles (six Lépine open-faces, two Savonnette hunters) with the hand-wound SISTEM51 movement. Includes the rarity engine breakdown for Huit Blanc (randomly assembled coloured bezel screws) and the SISTEM51 51-component movement that powers all eight.

Drag through the device carousel, tap any device to wake it, sidebar reveals composer plus mechanism plus cultural lore plus sources. Audio is self-hosted.
